Terms & Conditions

Profix Hot Tub Services
Effective Date: 04/08/2025

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Profix Hot Tub Services (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking or using our services, you agree to the following:

1. Services Provided

We offer:
   •    Hot tub repairs and diagnostics
   •    Maintenance and servicing
   •    Cleaning and water treatment
   •    Installation and relocation support
   •    Emergency callouts (subject to availability)

All services are subject to availability and a prior assessment of feasibility.

2. Appointments & Access
   •    Appointments must be booked in advance.
   •    You are responsible for providing clear and safe access to the hot tub.
   •    Missed appointments without 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a call-out charge.

3. Pricing & Payment
   •    Prices will be confirmed prior to work starting, either as a flat rate or hourly charge.
   •    All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
   •    Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
   •    We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, or debit/credit card.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
   •    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
   •    Failure to cancel or reschedule within 24 hours may result in a call-out fee.
   •    If we cancel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, we will reschedule at the earliest opportunity.

5. Warranty & Workmanship
   •    We guarantee our labour for 30 days from the date of service unless otherwise agreed.
   •    Parts provided by us may carry a manufacturer’s warranty; claims must be made via the manufacturer.
   •    We do not guarantee repairs if parts are supplied by the customer or if the hot tub is in poor condition or improperly installed.

6. Liability
   •    We are insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
   •    We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues that arise from misuse or poor maintenance.
   •    We do not accept responsibility for any loss of water or chemical imbalance unless due to our proven negligence.

7. Customer Responsibilities
   •    You must inform us of any known issues or restrictions prior to our visit.
   •    You are responsible for maintaining adequate water levels and safe chemical balances unless contracted for ongoing service.

8. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if:
   •    Conditions are unsafe
   •    The property is inaccessible or unfit for work
   •    Abuse or unreasonable behaviour is directed at staff

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, pandemics, or supply shortages.

10. Complaints

We aim to provide excellent service. If you’re not satisfied, please contact us within 7 days of service. We’ll aim to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled in the relevant UK courts.
